I'm always looking for ways to add more ✨glow✨ to my skin. For me that means paying a lot of attention to my skin care routine, and using the most glow-inducing products that I can find. But it doesn't stop there. I'm constantly looking for the perfect luminizers and highlighters to amp up that skin glow. I have used Cover FX Custom Cover Drops before, So I was familiar with the brand, and the concept of their highly pigmented drops before getting the Cover FX Custom Enhancer Drops in the shade Celestial.
The Cover FX Custom Enhancer Drops come in nine different shades. The range contains a variety of highlighters and bronzers. I chose the shade Celestial which is a glistening pearl pink highlighter. I use these drops in two different ways. My favorite is using these drops mixed in with foundation. And as far as combinations, I'm partial to one pump of the It Cosmetics Your Skin But Better CC Cream and one or two drops of the Cover FX Custom Enhancer Drops in Celestial. I mix the two together on the back of my hand and apply with a Beauty Blender.
When added to foundation or CC Cream, the drops add a subtle all-over glow that is dewy and youthful without being an overwhelming highlight. I find that the drops mix evenly into another product and I haven't had any issues with separation, or uneven mixing.
The second way that I use the Cover FX Custom Enhancer Drops is to achieve a more intense highlight. I don't do this on a daily basis—only when I want a stronger glow in certain areas. Apply one drop on the back of your hand and use a Beauty Blender to pick up small amounts of the product. Tap across the tops of the cheekbone and under the brow bone (basically, anywhere you would normally use a highlighter). These drops are a very concentrated highlighter, so if you use a light hand, you can use them that way.
My favorite way to use them is mixed into base products. If you don't use a foundation or CC cream, you can mix these into you moisturizer for added glow without coverage. I've gotten to the point where this is the only luminizer that I'm using. This pink tones in these drops are a perfect match for my skin tone, and I won't be giving up these drops anytime soon. If you don't think Celestial would be a good color match for you, try the shade Halo which is cooler toned and holographic. I definitely have this shade on my wishlist!
Have you tried the Cover FX Custom Enhancer Drops? I'd love to hear your thoughts on this brand!
